Background
Van Nuys Airport operates a mixed use indoor/outdoor offsite parking facility including a bus terminal transporting airport patrons and staff to the nearby airport. The facility operates around the clock 24/7/365 serving parking and ground transportation needs. This facility serves the parking needs of both airport patrons and the airport staff with 3,009 parking spaces, via a five level garage and an open-air surface lot.
The Challenge
Van Nuys Airport needed management and staff who knew the modern parking industry, modern revenue control equipment and pay station technology to streamline their operations with minimal management overhead required from airport management. Pacific Park Management and Partner ABM Industries partnered to propose a full-suite of airport services, including Pacific Park independently managing the entire off-site parking service.
